Costa Rica Tarrazu Coffee
Costa Rican Tarrazu fresh roasted coffee.
We have a new crop from our beloved highlands Tarrazu region in Costa Rica. The last crop was a fruit cocktail explosive of flavors. This years has taken on more nuttier flavors with undertones of fruit and wild honey or florals. It is still naturally processed giving it a slight fermented note on the front end as well.
It is grown on coffee plantations at over 1500 meters in elevation. Tarrazu has a long rainy season and a few months of dry weather when the coffee is harvested. This particular bean is from the Beneficio San Diego mill that seeks to continually increase in quality and sustainability. Our brewing recommendation is Chemex, Cold Brew, Drip, and Pour Over.
