Colombian Decaf Coffee
Colombian fresh roasted decaf coffee.
We searched and sampled all over for the best decaf...this Colombian is fantastic and does not compromise on taste or body! We are still shocked this is a decaf because of the tremendous flavor and aroma of this bean. It is naturally decaffeinated using the sugarcane decaf process. The process removes 95-97% of the caffeine! The short and simple explanation of the process is: take fermented molasses mixed with acetic acid (main compound in vinegar), soak the beans in the compound, steam them, dry them and voilá, fabulous decaf! Just to be clear, it goes through that process before I receive the beans because the last time I dabbled with Chemistry...my mother's ceiling ending up with a large purple stain and concoction on it.
If you are sensitive to caffeine or need a delicious cup in the evenings, look no further! My brewing recommendations are Chemex/Pour Over, drip, or French Press.
